About Us

Design 1 Racing was first formed back in the mid 80's, focusing on street and track setup of primarily British cars, but dabbled with Porsches from time to time.  Extending the developments of innovative parts and setups to the track was always a focus, but the primary one was to enhance the driver and owner experience by providing an improved street performance.

After a haitus in the 90's to pursue other projects, Design 1 Racing is back in full swing, and will be expanding its presence.  You can expect an increasing line of products, and new and innovative solutions to problems we all have with our cars.

With an eye on reliability, a key slogan of the company has always been "it's always less expensive to do it right the first time". Everything that Design 1 Racing does remains focused on sustainability and reliability.  Sometimes this is at the expense of maximum performance, but we feel it provides for the most satisfying and enjoyable experience over all.

Constantly looking to develop new products, Design 1 racing has a motto, which translates into its name.  It is "If we can't find one, we'll DESIGN 1.
